ISTAC is one of the leading environmental management companies in Turkey. It was established in 1994 as a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and started to operate the first regular storage facility in Turkey. ISTAC has gained unique place in environmental management business in Turkey with its outstanding quality service, integrated waste disposal management and its research and development that it adopts while providing public services.

ISTAC, of which headquarters is located at Sisli/Istanbul, has more than 40 operation units and it employs over 4 thousand personnel. ISTAC mission is to provide solutions with its approach of zero effect for more habitable environment, and is to raise environmental awareness.
